Laundry and Light Housekeeping

Our caregivers can offer assistance with laundry and light housekeeping in order to help maintain a comfortable living space. From tidying and sweeping to light bathroom or kitchen clean-up, we know that a clean environment helps maintain health, hygiene and safety.

Housework can become increasingly difficult for elderly people, those who are ill, those recovering from surgery or those with Alzheimer’s, to name a few.

Assisting with these tasks often falls to family and friends, but it isn’t always easy to find the time amidst a busy schedule. The additional burden can strain relationships, and reduce quality time spent together.

At Affordable Home Health Care, we can help with laundry and light housekeeping to keep households running smoothly.

What does laundry and light housekeeping include?

Please Note: We handle light housekeeping in the areas used by the client, not the whole house.  We do not handle deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing carpets, steam cleaning, scrubbing floors, moving furniture, cleaning windows, cleaning roofs or gutters, cleaning grout, or handling any exterior or gardening work.
